The anchoring exhibition of the 2014 edition of the Vector Festival (curated by Martin Zeilinger, Diana Poulsen and myself), asked the question, how can artistic production in relation to the technologies and aesthetics of video games be modes of resistance?
Using this theme as the central organizing principle for the exhibition, the works featured cut across a wide array of subthemes connecting to the larger question of resistance: war, surveillance, consent, cultural memory, violence, voyeurism, social control, and more.
