Data Dance was a series of New Arcade style videogame / art parties that married the concept of the Video Arcade with an electronic music dance party.
The first three events in this series took place at the LoPub, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and the fourth happened at the Alex P. Keaton Pub in London, Ontario.
Each event featured arcade cabinets, gaming consoles and indie games, as well as live DJ'd chipmusic and live video mixing.
The Data Dance series featured works by the following, alongside vintage arcade machines and game consoles:
The Winnitron 1000. (bit collective)
N+ (metanet games)
Cephalopod CoOp Cottage Defense (Spooky Squid Games)
Project White Card.
Track + Feel (Partytime! Hexcellent!)
